Kenta brings an athletic swimming background and a deep passion for scuba to our team. After becoming a certified diver in 2022, he moved rapidly through the professional ranks, earning his Instructor rating in 2024. His transition into diving was a natural evolution of his life in the water; as a former competitive swimmer, Kenta possesses an elite level of aquatic comfort that he utilizes in his scuba instruction with every student he trains.

As an active technical diver, Kenta is well-versed in the complexities of deep underwater environments. He applies this knowledge to his work at the shop, where he can provide quality gear recommendations and perform equipment servicing. His technical insight ensures that whether you are buying your first regulator or seeking qualified maintenance, your gear will perform at the highest standard.

In addition to his scuba credentials, Kenta is a certified freediver. His background in professional swim training gives him a unique perspective on breath-hold mechanics, hydrodynamics, and water safety. This dual expertise in both scuba and freediving makes him an invaluable resource for anyone looking to improve their efficiency and comfort underwater, regardless of the discipline.
