General Terms and Conditions:

No refunds on merchandise, Non-special order items may be returned for store credit within 7 days of original purchase date (or date of receipt for online orders) so long as products and associated packaging, labels, and accessories remain in their original, new, unused, sellable condition. 
No returns on special order items.
No warranty on computer battery replacements (Flooding, etc)
For Hygienic reasons we do not accept returns on the following items: Mouthpieces, Snorkels, Regulators, Base layers, Swimsuits, or any next to skin garments, or undergarments.

Learning Agreement for all Training and Experience Programs

Diver training courses are meant to be fun, but, like any form of learning, you will need to invest some time and effort in reading and studying. This Learning Agreement is between you, the student, and Dive and Sea Sports along with our instructional staff, and covers our mutual responsibilities in this program. 

STUDENT'S AGREED RESPONSIBILITIES OF COURSE

The student agrees to study independently as specified by the instructor, and in email communications prior to the course start date. In general, this means that before each class session, the student will:

         1.Watch the appropriate assigned portion(s) of the course video(s). 
         2.Read the appropriate assigned section(s) of the course manual(s) or eLearning, and complete the exercise questions within. 
         3.Complete the appropriate Knowledge Review and Quizzes prior to the start of each session.

In addition, the student agrees to:

         1.Follow all course procedures as set forth by the instructor.
         2.Ask questions about any class-related items not understood.
         3.Show up for all sessions on time and prepared.

If the student arrives at class, but has failed to complete and turn in assigned work, the student falls behind/requires additional time to meet performance objectives, or if the student fails to arrive on time, it may be necessary to make up the work and continue the class at a later date. The student will be responsible for any additional costs and/or inconvenience this may cause. In scheduling and determining additional costs, Dive and Sea Sports will give every reasonable consideration to unforeseen events, such as family emergencies, that led to this situation.

INSTRUCTOR/STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

The course instructor(s) and staff agree to:

         1.Be ready to begin the course as scheduled.

         2.Provide a positive learning environment in which to master the course objectives.

         3.Answer the students questions to the best of their ability.
         4.Assist the student through learning challenges.

• If the student completes all course work as assigned, arrives for class promptly, and otherwise follows directions for learning as given by the instructor(s), most individuals will find success in their course. Course objectives must be met before the student is certified, but in the situation where additional time is required, Dive and Sea Sports will offer to schedule any necessary training sessions, until either (A) the student masters the course objectives, or, (B) the student voluntarily withdraws; the Student will be responsible for any additional costs this may incur due to booking additional pool time, instructional staff, rental equipment, etc.

GENERAL COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

         1. Your non-refundable deposit reserves your place in the above course.

         2. Balance of course fee is due the first class meeting.

         3. Our policy on drugs and alcohol during training programs is simple - ZERO TOLERANCE.

         4.  Candidates may be expected to furnish their own equipment for use during the program. Rental equipment is available upon request at a special student rate for currently enrolled students in good standing.

         5. Course books, education supplies, fees, travel expenses, etc, if any, may not be included in your course fee. However, recreational certification fees are included in all recreational-  level courses. 

         6. Rescheduling may incur a rescheduling fee

         7. No Refunds will be given on any portion of the course, the sole exception is due to permanent medical reasons brought to our attention greater than 7 business days prior to the course start date
